More Jihad, More Excuses

It’s happened again, this time in Paris, France.

Masked gunmen shouting ‘Allahu Akbar!’ stormed the offices of the satirical paper Charlie Hebdo, which had run the infamous and controversial cartoons of the prophet Mohammad.  At last report, 12 people were dead.

To his credit, French President Francois Hollande has already publicly stated: “This is a terrorist attack, there is no doubt about it."

I give credit to Hollande for calling this what it is.  Unlike many other leaders of the Free World in nations which have also recently suffered similar Jihad attacks, Hollande had the balls to speak the truth.

Much like Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper after the ‘lone wolf’ terror strikes in Quebec and at the Parliament in Ottawa this past year, Hollande didn’t mince words.

These two leaders have placed truth above electability.  It isn’t politically correct to call an Islamic terror attack an Islamic terror attack.  Many voters – especially the enlightened white liberal crowd – have been so thoroughly brainwashed into the Cult of Tolerance they fail to recognize danger.

I encounter this mindset constantly.  These are people who believe the likes of Barack Obama and the UK’s David Cameron, both leaders of nations which have experienced recent acts of Jihad violence, who seemingly do backflips in an effort to excuse the acts.

The deflections and bogus reasons have become annoyingly and dangerously cliché.  Typically normal people, perhaps struggling to cling to their tolerant image for fear of being labelled, bury reality under a layer of denial.

They rightfully claim that not all Muslims are terrorists, followed by the inevitable comparisons to Christianity.  Here’s the truth, folks: trying to compare the idiots of Westboro Baptist with the millions of Muslims following Jihad is not only an example of false equivalence, but plumbs the depths of utter banality.

People speaking on religion that have no knowledge of religion but have the excuses down pat:

The Muslim who had himself a shoot-up at Fort Hood?  ‘Workplace violence’.

Islamists Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale viciously murder British soldier Lee Rigby in broad daylight on a Southeast London street?  ‘That isn’t Islam’.

Jihadist Michael Zehaf-Bibeau murders Corporal Nathan Cirillo, who stands guard at the Canadian National War Memorial?  ‘Mental issues’.

They were acts of goddamn Jihad within our borders.

The time for pandering to the naïve, entitled politically correct among us is over.  It has to be.  Enough time has been wasted debating the mental state of the Ottawa shooter.  Was he a terrorist or was he crazy?  Are they mutually exclusive now?

He was a crazy fucker who followed Jihad and killed a Canadian solder.  Just like Islamist Nidal Malik Hasan who went ‘crazy’ at Fort Hood.  ‘Canadian’ Omar Khadr, who killed an American and now has a ‘free Khadr’ fanclub?  Insane.  The dudes in London?  Crazy.  The Paris gunmen?  Total squirrel bait.  All of them.

And they all followed Islam.
